Agentic AI Analyst

Job Category: Agentic Analyst
Job Type: Work from Office
Job Location: Pune

Role Description

  • The Agentic Analyst will support delivery of enterprise agentic automation solutions, working across business, data, and technology stakeholders.
  • Translate business objectives, policies, and operating constraints into clear, implementable requirements for Python-based orchestration and agent workflows.
  • Lead discovery workshops to identify use cases, triggers, decision points, exceptions, and human-in-the-loop approvals required for safe execution.
  • Define workflow specifications: routing logic, decision tables, data contracts, prompts/structured outputs, guardrails, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with Agentic Developers to ensure intent is preserved in implementation and outcomes are explainable, secure, and audit-ready.
  • Drive UAT planning and execution; validate results, manage defect triage, and produce audit-ready documentation.
  • Participate across discovery → build → rollout → continuous improvement to improve agent performance and reduce operational risk.

Location

  • Pune, India (work arrangement depends on project needs; on-site/hybrid collaboration may be required).

Experience Requirements & Qualifications

Core Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years as a Business Analyst / Technical Analyst / Product Analyst in automation, workflow, integration, platform delivery, or digital transformation programs.
  • Strong requirements engineering skills: workshops, user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria, traceability, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Understanding of agentic automation concepts: tool-based execution, decisioning, exception handling, approvals, and safe boundaries.
  • Ability to define human-in-the-loop controls (approval triggers, approver roles, evidence capture, and escalation paths).
  • Strong stakeholder management: ability to work with business users, operations, developers, architects, and security teams.
  • Strong documentation standards and ability to produce clear, implementation-ready specifications.

Python / Orchestration Understanding (Good-to-Have)

  • Exposure to Python-based orchestration or workflow execution patterns (even if not coding daily).
  • Ability to define orchestration requirements for multi-step execution flows and dependencies; APIs and system actions (inputs/outputs, retries, timeouts, failure paths); run logging, traceability, and operational SLAs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers building orchestration code and reusable platform components.

Data & Integration Knowledge (Good-to-Have)

  • Understanding of APIs (REST), JSON payloads, and common authentication methods (API keys, OAuth2, JWT).
  • Basic SQL literacy or ability to validate outputs via reports/dashboards is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with data quality checks, reconciliation, and exception reporting is a plus.

Others (Good-to-Have)

  • Experience working with LLM-enabled solutions (prompt patterns, structured JSON outputs, tool calling concepts, grounding/RAG basics).
  • Exposure to governance, compliance, or enterprise risk practices (audit evidence, operational controls).
  • Agile/Scrum delivery experience (backlog management, sprint ceremonies, release planning).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and alerting expectations for production workflows.
  • n8n exposure (or similar orchestration tools) is a plus.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery workshops to identify high-value enterprise agentic use cases aligned to Boundaryless’s platform and delivery standards.
  • Document end-to-end process flows including triggers, decision points, integrations, exceptions, and manual interventions.
  • Produce artefacts such as: user stories, acceptance criteria, decision tables, data contracts, error handling requirements, and UAT test cases.
  • Define agentic guardrails: what the agent can/cannot do, approval checkpoints, escalation paths, and logging/audit requirements.
  • Specify LLM interaction requirements where applicable (inputs, outputs, structured response formats, safety constraints, evaluation criteria).
  • Support developers during build by clarifying requirements and validating intermediate outputs against business intent.
  • Lead UAT execution, coordinate defect triage, and manage sign-off readiness.
  • Create operational documentation and audit-ready evidence: runbooks, expected outcomes, exception handling playbooks, and control evidence.
